Crime prevention is one of the highest priorities to the Garden City Police Department. Crime prevention, however, can not be undertaken solely by the police department. Citizens, business owners, residents, and visitors to the community must also take positive steps to hinder criminals and their wrongdoings.

We have identified some areas which may help you avoid becoming the victim of a criminal attack or an unwanted accident. By increasing citizen awareness, we can make our community a safer place.

The Garden City Police Department also employs a Crime Prevention officer to help you with your needs and answer any questions that you may have.
