A Message from the Fire Chief

Letter from the Fire Chief,

I would like to personally thank the Members of the Council, the Mayor, the City Manager and the Citizens of Garden City for the opportunity to lead the Garden City Fire Department as the Fire Chief. As the Fire Chief, I am proud to represent Garden City Fire Rescue and the team of men and women who have chosen one of the most selfless service professions in the world. As we begin this next chapter together, I am excited to assist in the growth of the Department. We will accomplish this through professionalism in our training, community outreach, and incident response.

The Firefighters and the Administration of Garden City Fire Rescue have established a solid foundation that motivates and inspires everyone with whom they interact. I will support these men and women by providing them with a fair and transparent environment where everyone has a voice. It is important that the Office of the Fire Chief supports the Supervisors, Companies and Individuals of the Fire Department. This support will create the most effective and efficient service to the Citizens and Community of Garden City with safety as the number one priority.

As Garden City Continues to grow and thrive, as it has over the past decade, I am honored to continue the positive growth of Garden City Fire Rescue.
