Monthly Rates and Charges, Residential Equivalent Unit Base Charges and Tap Fees

In 2011, the City Water Operations Department performed a detailed analysis of the City's water and sewer fee rate schedule. The analysis looked at all operational and capital outlay costs associated with the City water and sewer operations. Based on the detailed analysis undertaken, the City Council adopted a revised water and sewer fee schedule in December 2011 for fiscal year 2012. Customers should contact the City Water Operations Department or Customer Service Department with any questions regarding the fee schedule.

A residential equivalent unit is that portion of a user's facility that has an impact on the water and wastewater system equivalent to a single family residence. Peak water consumption of three hundred (300) gallons per day or a floor space of three thousand (3,000) square feet, shall be the equivalent of one (1) residential unit (REU).
